Summary: Tom suffers from cystic fybrosis, a genetic lung disease he shares with his older brother Lucas. Tom is struggling to cope with his short life expectancy. In the hospital, he meets Xavier, a young man suffering from the same illness but who behaves like a top athlete. Tom is influenced by Xavier's energy and joy of life. He roams the hospital grounds and falls for the charms of quirky Eline, who has been quarantined for months due to an infection. Xavier also gives him back his taste for life. (ffm-montreal.org)

Good acting, but I felt it missed something. The ending is good though, and quite emotional

Never feels like an essay on the disease, but more of a study on its cognitive side effects and what to do with the time that is given to them (rightfully so). Features inspired direction and lavish cinematography. The performances are off the charts (especially Stef Aerts), the film's driving force. It's feels intermittently sophomoric and rather sentimental but maintains a certain restrained finesse. An admirable debut or Belgian film for that matter, a miracle I get to write down these words.
