Pretty bad CGI to start; the white dragon looks like something straight out of The Asylum's playbook, a "we need a dragon but we only have 20-thou to spend" sort of thing. Anyways. I give the film props for taking a classic tale and putting at least a somewhat-fascinating spin on it. Ahab was an interesting character; at the same time, protagonist and vengeance-fueled anti-hero. Some unneeded emotional tack-ons, but nothing too egregious. Don't shy away because of bad reviews. It's worth a look.

Hilariously terrible adaption of Herman Melville's classic.

After more or less interesting beginning the movie was filled with empty talks, terrible acting and poor action (couple of times). Characters were badly build, though Danny Glover tired to enlighten his part. The end was the biggest letdown in long time. And what was the machine which moved by itself?
