Don't know why, but it feels like it's made for youtube. Funny, sexist, nothing special. I actually used to draw few second animated "movies" at school during the breaks with stick man getting killed in various ways. So I see where Hertzfeldt is coming from.

Very one-dimensional; a bunch of crazy girls reject a guy and kill him in various bloody ways. Yeah, I used to draw stick figures mutilating one another when I was 7 years old, too. There is an actual punchline in the ending, but it's quite predictable and boring. I can appreciate the kills, and at least there was something to the ending, but it's still very mediocre.

Amusingly harsh perspective.

Watchable, but a disappointment for Hertzfeldt. It's quite obviously a student film, and perhaps a better-then-average one, and some of the deaths are quite imaginative. Ultimately, however, it just sits there.

Admittedly it's the same joke done over and over but with a punch line that's slightly increased in it's absurdity each time. It does a humourous job of capturing the feeling of being rejected over and over without taking itself even remotely seriously so it avoids any depressing tones. Really enjoyable silly short.

Not half as good as 'Rejected', but hillarious. Even though a little exagerated, I love the ending.

Lol, this is true for a lot of self-proclaimed Nice Guys (tm) who aren't nice at all.

This short cartoon's gruesome depiction of the opposite sex as (literally) "femme fatales" is charming and touching in a childish way. One of Hertzfeldt's really good ones.

Very funny, but it's essentially just one joke and the conclusion takes the misogyny a bit too far. Rejected is a vastly superior work.

Charming and funny animated short, drawing from Hertzfeldt's favourite topic: rejection. It's not near as good as Rejected, but you can see a lot of the seeds that would later blossom into the genius of his later works. It's a student film, but one that shows a lot of potential. Uneven, but still hilarious.
