Nothing special, but has a few good gags and some elements of the story are kind of cute. This was the kind of cartoon that Chuck Jones was famous for back in the late thirties and early forties, so it comes as a surprise to see it was made by Tex Avery. For an Avery cartoon it is only OK, had it been a Jones' cartoon, it would be considered a step in the right direction.
