Although there was a lot of pretty animation and makeup to look at, all this could not distract from the terribly portrayed versions of the characters in this classic tale. Tim Burton should learn that there are more than three actors alive.

Big Fish meets Narnia in a formulaic and unemotional pseudo-sequel. I thought the supposedly-brilliant CGI might redeem "Alice," but even "Star Wars: Episode I" looks better than this did. The film did do a few things right, like the Cheshire Cat, but not enough things for me to ever consider watching this for a second-time.

Film started off very reminiscent of Wonderland of Lewis Carroll, but the longer the movie plays out, the less sense it makes. At the end of the movie it didn't seem as if was Wonderland. Still, it is visually stunning, if not quite creepy enough.

Inane, senseless, boring, cliched. These are a few things that come to mind after it was done. Oh, and that the fudderwacken is the worst moment from a movie that I've had to sit through in a looooooooong time.

Terrible. I really can't believe how much they managed to mess this up.

Everything in Alice in Wonderland is spot on except its rambling cookie-cutter story that makes no sense. Who thought this would be a good film to make? Burton salvages as much as he can with his trademark cast members and fantastic art direction and costume design.

What if Wonderland was a place that actually existed... and Alice had actually been there... and actually grew up and forgot about it... but was charged by destiny to save it from the clutches of Crispin Glover and Helena Bonham Carter [with a big ass forehead, yo]? Well you get this film. It's alright.
