Routine occult thriller made in Australia for a slight change of accent. Of limited interest thanks to the fresh appeal of Samuel (Mel Gibson's doomed wife in _Mad Max_), but ultimately undistinguished fare.

The most remarkable thing about this run-of-the-mill horror flick is that virtually every review of it in existence has the plot details wrong (about half the authors of said reviews think the bad guys are Satanic, just for starters). There are some other things of note -- the female lead is Joanne Samuel, who you may remember as Max's wife in _Mad Max_, and the sound is especially bad even for this kind of movie -- but not enough for it to be worth watching, IMHO. One good scare at the VERY end
