Considerably better than the gruesomely overrated "Coal Black". Still sucks the big one though.

You know the only thing better than blackface? An animated black person drawn to look like a person with blackface. I'm not sure if that sentence makes sense.

So let me get this straight; making fun of a foolish white caricature like Elmer Fudd is fine and dandy, but making fun of a black Elmer Fudd is "racist"? Fuck that idiotic liberal double standard. Aside from that, this is a decent and creative Looney Tunes short. It's fast-paced, with plenty of solid gags throughout. In addition to that, we also learn that Bugs Bunny is into stripping black guys completely naked, and gazing with relish at their genitals! Very progressive for its time!

Rated 'R' for 'Racist'...

Things I learned from this cartoon: black people are physically unable to resist the allure of the sound of dice rattling. Standard Bugs Bunny stuff with a black version of Elmer Fudd being made to look foolish.

Taking away the racist overtones, this short still has some good Tex Avery gags in it. If you can get by the stereotyping, it will give you a few laughs.

Good last Avery/Bugs adventure.

Besides the craps stereotype (of which I didn't even know was a stereotype) at the end, this is hardly offensive. He's just a black Elmer Fudd.

I want a shotgun that fires smart pellets like the one what's-his-face carries here. That would be such a lovely weapon in Doom 2. Other than that this is yet another sucky Bugs Bunny cartoon with a side order of totally disgusting racism

Racism aside, this isn't all that funny.
