Loved the winding point of view and great visual perspectives, which made every frame a delight to watch. And the garish, crazy dolls in the midst of a sleepy set of store-fronts was an inspired look and setting. While it's very limited in terms of story, it does have an effective, sudden punchline, managing to do so in a minimal amount of frames, before fading back to the same relaxed atmosphere it had at the beginning. It even has an element of surprise, making for a good, worthy short.
Very simple little short, that manages to build up a brilliantly eerie atmosphere in a very short amount of time. Sadly it's marred horrendously by gypsy music - but then again so is everything that is subjected to it.
From an animation standpoint, it's a joy to watch, and it does manage to build up a surprisingly creepy atomsphere, but it's let down by a lack of actual content -- it feels much more like a teaser trailer than a film in its own right.
