Don't get me wrong this is a brutal movie to watch... for the most part. The ending though had me laughing a little bit. I don't know if I was actually laughing at the humor of the movie, or if I was laughing at how stupid the movie was, but I was laughing. I laughed so hard I woke my date up who had fallen asleep about 20 minutes into it. Chris Klein should try re-enacting that exit scene in more of his films.

This movie had the potential to be a good satire but it falls flat on its execution. The script really falls apart near the end and the characters are very one dimensional.

This was a hoot! Completely skewering America's obsession with "Idol" and the fact that more people vote for a reality show than the presidency is by far a more intelligent movie that's come along in a while. And it's doggone funny as well.
