The first and best of the noughties gross-out comedies, Pie is still highly watchable after 11 years and multiple viewings. The Porky's of my generation, being the same age as the characters on its release it was easy to relate to their well-observed attitudes and behaviour. Most important here is the genuine heart shown in the story, mixing seamlessly with the gags in a way that, bar Knocked Up, no 'extreme' comedy has managed since. A much better film than it's ever given credit for.

Well if you are a fan of no depth, no unique and interesting story, no realistic and deep characters, no nothing, you'll like this film. It might be funny watching it for the first time for the whole american clichee but once you've gotten over the bad jokes boobs and nonsense you'll rather find something else to watch.

I know a lot of people try to justify themselves by hating the sequels but guess what the original was still shitty.
