Compared to it's predecessor (American Boy) it trumps it in terms of editing, which is very well-handled, due to our digital age, but falters in the atmosphere of the conversation. The only lively person is Prince himself, whereas in American Boy people contributed to Prince's conversations and presence (also, he stood up in that film). Luckily Prince has some interesting stories about the American Boy, film business, the rock 'n' roll era, and the '70s in general.
