Summary: Omanakuttan (Shankar), the new bank manager in the village of Kinginikkara, gets into a fix when two salient local ladies, Maheswariyamma (Lakshmi) & Thankamani Kunjamma (Srividya), each believe he was in love with their daughter. Omanakuttan, who really only loved Thankamani's daughter Kavitha (Sabitha Anand), gets scared & runs away to Ooty where he meets a mysterious stranger who saves his life.
