Summary: Devaraj (Mohanlal), a new hire at a chemical factory, seeing the militant trade unions & the inept management there, decides to take matters into his own hands & challenges status quo. Shrewd & cunning, he quickly rises through the ranks by uniting the workers & playing his enemies against each other. All through this, he had an ulterior motive - to find the culprits behind his father C.K. Ramakrishnan's (Jagannatha Varma) murder, who several years ago was a security officer at the factory.
