"A dreary tale spun out of bland cliches and so many coincidences that one begins to believe its titular guru perhaps does have a direct line to the Almighty." - Nick Schager

Didn't 'Wow" me. Yet, I had no problems with it, either... If you're looking for something light and charming, try it...

I was expecting a silly romantic comedy and this was suprisngly better, but this this is one to one a copy of the movie ' as good as it gets ' and its not half as good...

Not a bad film by any standard, but was certainly lacking. The relationship between Daniels and Graham was a bit too unrealistic if you ask me.

There's a lot to like about this movie. Lauren Graham is cute, Jeff Daniels is pretty hilarious, and Lou Pucci has to deal with some demons.
Unfortunately, the movie doesn't devote enough attention to each of these characters. You don't really know all of the characters by the end, and everything just seems to come together far too easily.
