Fuck this film, it's even worse than the first. Want something about the Crusades, maybe a little interesting parable about holy war? WRONG. SWEDEN (& Norway) VS. DENMARK, YOU LOSE DANSKJÄVLAR, HOW DO YOU LIKE THEM APPLES.

Better than the first as it doesn't suffer from an overly long exposition which takes up almost half the film. Instead it focuses on Arn as a man through the his involvement in the crusades and his eventual return to his homeland and the turmoil which continues there. It's style is obviously inspired by Kingdom of Heaven, like the first, which is definitely a welcome inspiration. While it's not a fantastic film it is an enjoyable epic from Sweden.
