"As You Desire Me" is not a bad movie. It's just that it leaves such a disappointing impression once it ends because one can see the greatness being there wasted. And it starts so awesome with Greta Garbo being a marvelous eccentric alcoholic. She was a true artist at work there. And then came the plot mystery. She might be the wife of a baron, but she can't remember 10 years back in time. But then it falls apart with everything interesting being pushed aside for the sake of romance....
