Decent, with some pretty good comedy bits. I've got to admit, though . . . I miss Zeppo!

I'm a sucker for a Marx brothers movie. They're as cheesey as hell thanks to the vaudeville roots, but the snappy one liners and silly visual gags that those roots provided seem to have stood the test of time better than the terrible music and shoddy love stories.

one of the better marx brothers movies. i think it's a sure fire sign that it'll be a decent one if chico and harpo play their respective instruments. the plot here is amazingly forgettable, but groucho does have a couple one liners that i actually liked this time.

I've seen recently 'A Day at the Races' and these two are quite too similar in most of the aspects. The good thing is still the scenes with the Marx Brothers, but all those songs, that love story and that so similar order of the events are too much for me. Very soon in the movie, one character asks why singing in a circle spectacle, and another one answer "People love it!". That doesn't work for me with these particular songs, sorry.

There's quite a few funny scenes, including "Lydia, the Tattooed Lady "which seems to be funny because of how ridiculously smitten Groucho sounds (the benefit of singing a love song despite not being able to sing is you always sound a little more sincere than you would otherwise). But OHMYGOD are the straights really boring. Dumont was cool, but holy crap how many times were going to hear those two idiots reprise that stupid "Two Blind Loves" song?

Under-rated Marx vehicle at last puts the boys back on the top of their game after a long spell of weak features.
