Not Good

not long enough really...but great to see Alba in a different role with interesting twists in the film.

Awake is a great movie. The plot twists are surprising, the plot is touching and keeps you engaged, and even though it's a short film that ends too quickly, there's a great deal of content included for you to take in. It's a low-budget film that makes the most out of its time, budget and stars, and is something that I'd definitely recommend watching, unless you're already scared of going under anesthesia. In that case, avoid it at all costs, because you'll never be able to have surgery again.

This is a real curates egg ... a good story, revealed intelligently and perfectly adequately acted by those involved, but is totally marred by the total unbeleivability of the main surgical scenes. As the story is progressing, this is seen as "totally unreaslistic and quaint" but once the plot is revealed, this becomes annoying, as the story would not have been possible without this total lack of realism. for a story to rely on a completely impossible scenario reduces its impact considerably
