DeNiro gives the conventional worthy-of-an-oscar-handicapped-guy-performance in this much too sentimental film. Robin Williams and Julie Kavner are way too cute. Read a book by Oliver Sacks instead.

Nice performances by De Niro and Williams indeed but still I just feel that the treatment should be something more then random amounts of random medicines. For a movie that is based on treating patients of a certain disease, the tecniques used was kinda lame.

De Niro does a great job, but I think the film could have used him being in the film earlier on. In addition, the film should have shaved about 5 to 10 minutes from the first half of the film. Makes an okay watch-once movie.

Incredible true story. R.De Niro played here an excellent role in this movie. At a certain moment I had to laugh at least 2 minutes with his tics at the end. Awesome movie.
