Summary: Kuttan Pillai (Innocent), to get his son Vidyadharan (Manian Pillai Raju) married to wealthy Adithya Varma's (Prem Nazir) daughter Kaveri (Menaka), tries to block her planned wedding with Balu (Shankar), brother of Varma's next-door neighbor Sasidharan (Nedumudi Venu).
