Effective, emotional and well made drama. Connolly shows plenty of skill and uses the well judged script very cleverly. Good performances too. LaPaglia in particular reminded me of what a good actor he is when on form. Recommeded.

Very touching film.

Disappointing, chaotic to watch, it even feels like this movie is made in 1975 and not 2009.

Emotion is conveyed astonishingly well here. Some of the images are striking but are necessary to make your feelings go on a very bumpy ride. The way Conolly has constructed this picture, the sensational cast, clever use of cameras and a script that knows where and when to pull its punches make this one for Australia to be proud of.
