Seann William Scott didn't do the jokes I thought he was going to do, and the exclusion of these jokes made this movie quite entertaining. There were many instances where I just busted out laughing, and most everyone in the film had their moments (Seann William Scott, Randy Quaid, the little girl, etc). I put this film up there with The Hammer, a film with an actor that I didn't expect much from, but kept my interest throughout.

Here we go again, a group of misfits coached to glory. It is pleasant however to watch Seann William Scott make a mockery of a sport in the name of humour rather than the endless stream of Will Ferrell releases. Every so often it does throw up another funny moment but mostly disappointing.
