Summary: A box of arms is discovered in an area under construction, leading to complications with a criminal-police-politician nexus. Balram (Mammootty), the no-nonsense police officer, one who figured in 'Aavanazhi' (1986), starts investigating. The evidence leads to Tharadas, played again by Mammootty as the suave smuggler of the 80's hit, 'Athirathram' (1984), who has now become an international criminal. (by iceblox)

So, when I. V. Sasi took two legendary characters from two of his hit movies of the 80's, 'Inspector Balram' from 'Avanazhi' and 'Tharadas' from 'Athirathram', and pitted them against each other, what do you expect? Magic, right? WRONG. This ended up being a pathetic attempt at milking some old cash cows, which falls flat on its face. The 'Tharadas' character was especially bad, sporting a ridiculous wig, which made the character look more comical than menacing. Katrina Kaif was mere eye-candy.
