Summary: Hari (Vineeth) travels to Varanasi after his M.Phil. to do research in North Indian folk arts, where circumstances force him to shelter a girl Amritha (Kavya Madhavan) from evil gangster Kishanchand (Suresh Krishna). Kishanchand catches up with them, brutally assaults Hari & takes Amritha away. Hari returns to Kerala, but has to spurn his childhood cousin/lover Devu (Navya Nair) as he had slept with Amritha. A devastated Devu commits suicide & Hari returns to Varanasi & seeks solace in drugs. (by iceblox)
