Top badass moment? Being reminded that however bad things are, they can always get worse. This is a depressing film set in a Romanian orphanage. We could have done with another Alien exploding out of John Hurt’s stomach, just to cheer things up a bit. What makes it worse is that whenever someone does try something to make things better, it doesn’t work. So sit in the dark, remove all sharp objects from reach, press play and prepared to be driven suicidal. No cats, chainsaws or decapitations.
