Kitschy sexed up female version of Flash Gordon that seems to exist mainly to showcase a bunch of 60's lava lamp projections, as well as Jane Fonda in 6 or 7 different skimpy outfits. Dopey but entertaining.

A 90-minute excuse to get Jane Fonda naked

This movie definitely has its moments, very hilarious then, but most of the times it's very trashy, like a female Flash Gordon...

This pop art film translation of the French comic strip perfectly casts Fonda, at the height of her sex kitten period. This is so '60s that it hurts but it's still good fun, filled with weird visuals, strange characters, and a lot of sex talk and (mild) nudity for a PG-rated movie.

Like Catwoman, one of those films that should have been a strip tease. Still, it does have that 60s sci-fi nostalgia to make it worth a watch. Just don't think you'll really enjoy it.

A huge mess, meritless save for the production design, one of the most dated films of its era, and yet still endlessly watchable. The score alone was enough to leave me rolling on the floor.

Psychedelic.

One word for you: weird. Not the most psychedelic movie I've seen, but it's up there. Keep in mind, though, that despite the 1977 PG re-rating, the original uncut movie definitely has parts that should not be seen by little kids. Sex is a constant theme, and there is real nudity.

For all its flaws, I rarely have a better time watching movies than when I'm watching this. This movie does its own thing, and that particular thing is pretty damn fun.

A deserved camp classic with a comic book sense of humour about itself (rare in such a humourless genre as Sci-Fi) and a genuinely fascinating art design that is a dizzying mixture of classical art and tacky 60s fashion. Jane Fonda is a fucking goddess, gorgeous and goofy.

Very much a B-movie, and seemingly just an excuse to put a semi-nude Fonda on the screen, not that I'm complaining.

Possibly the dirtiest pg-rated movie ever. That's got to count for something, as well as the craaazy costumes and set design. Still, couldn't Vadim & Southern have all that and hang it onto a story that wasn't quite so silly? (And not silly in a "I can't wipe the smile off my face way," but silly in a "this lack of focus and competency is getting tedious" way.)

Fun campy movie that makes just enough sense to allow one to enjoy the silliness and Fonda's sexy outfits.

The fifties on drugs, without the Production Code. Or 2001: A Space Odyssey if it was totally lame. Or Star Wars if it was a sex comedy. Or Performance if it was set in space and less pretentious.

A great space opera with a biblical sense, that could have been better if was spoken in French.
