Two losers from Milwaukee, Coop & Remer (Parker & Stone), invent a new game playing basketball, using baseball rules. When the game becomes a huge success, they, along with a billionaire's help, form the Professional Baseketball League where everyone gets the same pay and no team can change cities. Coop & Remer's team, the Milwaukee Beers is the only team standing in the way of major rule changes that the owner of the Dallas Felons (Vaughn) wants to institute. (imdb)

One of the funniest comedies ever made. Baseketball is probably the only sports satire, that mocks the subject gracefully.

Very funny. Probably one of the funniest movies of all time. It doesn't stray too far from trying to make us laugh, so it succeeds, multiple times. The psych outs are something to watch for.

The only memorable moment I remember really enjoying is the exposition of the state of sports (and how on the nose it is with some of its elbow nudging) Other than that humor seems like it it was riffing off of the trends of the late 90's but doesn't surprise me with Trey and Stone as they do in the moment comedy well (ie South Park).
