You can definitely see why they started over with Batman Begins after this one. It's enough to make fans of the original cry.

It was really bad, it was close to the 60s version of Batman, but at that time it was entertaining. It just gets a few more "woman"-points for having Clooney in this picture.^^

Includes lots of flash but, as usual, not much substance in this, which features a less angst-ridden caped crusader in the charming persona of Clooney. O'Donnell, who apparently knows a good gig when he's got one, returns as Robin. Story's simplified but the secondary characters still get lost in the crowd.
