A Betty Boop cartoon about how horrible it is to abuse animals... which therefore manages to convey the ugly truth of the matter while still, by virtue of being a cartoon, doesn't make it *too* hard to bear. I have been amused and heartwarmed by more than a few of these Boop toons; to be moved by one is something else quite again

No Betty, you vapid whore, most animals cannot cry, with the exception of pro-simians. What a shitty lesson for kids; stick your nose in your neighbor's affairs, even when his or her actions don't affect you. Furthermore, the way they punished the farmer was fucking sadistic; the fact that he abused his legally owned animals doesn't excuse that. Also, I hate simplistic, stupid propaganda aimed at children like this dreck. Mean-spirited, moronic bullshit.
