Bears

I watched 6 minutes of this on 2x speed, but I already know I hate this movie. The narration is atrocious. "Hi little bears". WTF. Bears are great though.

I'm a sucker for these high quality nature films. How they get all that footage is a modern miracle. Probably could have done without most of the narration.

Most of the narration is unnecessary and aimed at kids, but the footage is just jaw-dropping.

Alaska is looking magnificent as always. Oh yeah, there are some bears also.

And it's worth noting that this particular furry frolic is the most kid-friendly journey of all the Disneynature flicks. There's nothing, really, that's unbearable. At "worst," we see hungry bears relishing their catches of salmon and clams, and maybe cuffing any critter that gets too close to that precious feast. (pluggedin.com)

Disney documentary insomuch as it's not a documentary at all. However, Bears is a triumph of storytelling and emotion featuring some of the best DisneyNature footage captured to date.
