engaging, strikingly shot and superbly acted, though the melodramatic and ultimately predictable plot feels a little overblown at times.

Family drama of the highest calibre. Rachel Ward brilliantly combines the beautiful and ethereal sounds and images of outback Australia with a simple yet deep, masterfully crafted story which never insults or manipulates the viewer, just tells it like it is with good honest film-making. This film lingers in my mind and calls out for another viewing.

All five main actors did they job nicley. I liked the camera work. They catch the rural lifestyle in backyards of Australia very good. The story's got it's highlights, but it was still a bit too predictable. I was waiting some kind of big twist in the end to make it more unique, story of it's own.
