There are a few movies that I cannot objectively rate due to an individual scene; some funny (roof jump from The Other Guys), some sad ("She loves him," from The Fall), some thrilling (the bridge in Sorcerer), some scary (the demon from The Church). When Farva (c'mon, he'll always be) falls into the beer vat and determines to drink himself out, complete with cgi funneling effect, I lost it. I'll forever cherish that stupidity.

Just as hilarious as Super Troopers and a great bounce back from the lukewarm Club Dread. Packed with low-brow crass laughs but if you enjoy that then this is a must see. Especially if you liked Super Troopers.

Usually a film like this is really not worth seeing, but there are rays of comedy brilliance shining through in Beerfest that simply shouldn't be missed. I really think that Broken Lizard are way ahead of the pack when it comes to making goofy but witty and endearing comedies.

It looks really stupid, and by all accounts it is really stupid. It is also however quite funny. If you have ever enjoyed beer and playing drinking games then this movie will probably make you laugh a bunch too. It's nowhere near Super Troopers level of hilarity, but this is Broken Lizard's second best effort and worth a watch if it seems like something you might enjoy.

A straight out comedy from the guys involved with Super Troopers and Club Dread. The movie is predictable but still very funny. I think it's better then the other two movies because of the subject matter of beer drinking and drinking games that those in their 20s can easily relate to. Very funny with many lines you can quote around friends.

The humor is excessive and the film loses its bite after just a couple of viewings. That being said, the Broken Lizard performers are still funny enough. And Jurgen Prochnow is always a treat.

What starts as a mildly irritating, butterfly brained comedy shapes its weird energy and timing into its own unique thing, though having Leachman around doing a perverted riff on one of her more infamous comic roles was always going to add a log (or a Bratwurst) to the fire. This doesn't have the discipline or momentum to be anything approaching a classic comedy, but individual gags and payoffs work much better than the whole and the cast (largely unknown to me) are a likable and talented bunch.

If you're going into the film stupefied from a night of drinking, you'll probably get the laughs, but once the buzz of the beer wears off, so too will the buzz of the movie. If there's ever a movie that can give you a hangover just from rampant imbecility, this is the one.

Although it is funny, it isn't funny consistently. If you want to see a Broken Lizard group movie, stick with Super Troopers. If you want to see a dumb comedy that riffs on sports cliches, watch Dodgeball.

I have to confess: I didn't hate this movie NEARLY as much as I expected to. In fact, I let out several chortles and one full-on belly laugh at a twist involving an unexpected twin brother. It's not great and it's beyond low-brow, but did I hate it? No.

The Broken Lizard gang is known for their low-brow humor, but this one was just a little too low-brow. I watched this because, much to my surprise, I really enjoyed Super Troopers. If you're expecting the former to live up to the latter, like me, you will be disappointed.
