Straightforward documentary looking at the history of burlesque entertainment in the USA. Touches on a few things, like the social and economic climate the artform operated in, but doesn't really explore these issues in any great depth. Instead, the film is reliant on talking head interviews with the people involved in the business and just becomes an endless stream of random anecdotes. It's very unfocused and all gets a bit repetitive after a while.
