This is an enjoyable movie that did not get a lot of love from critics. I am unfamiliar with the original movie. The cast is good and I like the twist in the movie.

I have seen one Michael Douglas movie. And it is this one. Awesome.

Beyond a Reasonable Doubt is without a doubt one of the worst films I have ever seen in my life. It was absolutely pitiful, and I am surprised that Michael Douglas would play in a movie like this. The direction was dreadful, and you will see the "surprise" ending coming from a mile off, the acting was humorous it was so bad, I really felt sorry for the actors. To be honest I am really not sure why this movie was made, and it would have saved me some money if it had not have been.

Great story/premise, adequate execution despite Amber Tamblyn's "nails on a chalkboard" delivery and Jesse Metcalfe's stiff yet whiny performance.

Not too bad of a beginning/set up. But the end twist ruined the story. Not only did it throw in an illogical ending but it made the whole story illogical. Why would he ever try to discount a DA for mistrying and convicting someone else for a murder that he committed?

Predictably unpredictable in it's retarded twist.
