Pretty dire disaster movie, bad in a dull and uninteresting way. Caine occasionally amuses when he engages in inexplicable shouting, and the sheer ridiculousness of the situation is amusing at times, but overall those looking for a campy good time are likely to be let down.

Before Michael Caine was a renowned and respected actor he made crap like this. Noteworthy is Sally Field, as possibly the most annoying anything ever put to film.

It's an amusing film at times, but stinks all the way through.

I'm not big on the original and this is set "the next day". God awful, and not in a "SO bad it's good" kinda way. Toe knee :-)

This is just really weird, in a kind of throw a load of actors together and see what the hell happens kind of way. Pretty entertaining at times.

It was interesting that the sequel deals with the aftermath of the first movie, but that was really the only thing I liked about it. The script is so slapdash and preposterous, and the characters are all pretty unlikeable.

Passes the time.
