Shot in beautiful black & white full frame, evoking perhaps a lost film supressed by the Communist regime. The story is balanced between charming sequences involving the camel (who simply lights up the screen with grace and adorability) and the xenophobic, greedy and jealous reactions of the townspeople. Not terribly deep, but very sweet and very sad.
