Arnaz is very good (as is Marshall and Wanamaker). Laughlin also is surprisingly fairly convincing in his filibuster. Film though seems kinda schizo, alternating between the gallery of Free Schoolers clapping and cheering at the hearing (shades of the original movie) and backroom Washington machinations. Gorgeous Grand Canyon sequence. When Laughlin sheds his suit for hat and denim jacket, it gets fun--but he only kicks butt once (although at least this time Taylor lends a foot alongside him).
