Summary: As a street-pounding undercover cop, Darcy Walker must confront slimeballs every day -- on both sides of the law. When her father is murdered, Darcy gives up on the establishment and transforms herself into the vigilante heroine Black Scorpion. Blasting through the city in a souped-up Porsche Scorpionmobile, she searches for the key to her father's murder. Along the way, she discovers a conspiracy of the darkest kind. Can she stop her nemesis, the Breathtaker, before he destroys the city?

Its almost charming in its low budget silliness. Its a shame it does not go the full hog and really go campy though, or this might have been remembered fifteen or so years on.

This Roger Corman-produced distaff _Batman_ with cleavage, originally made for cable, copies ideas from _The Crow_ and its title from a classic big bug flick of the '50s (which had the double advantage of Mara Corday and Willis O'Brien animation) but really isn't all that special; most of the humor it generates is strictly the unintentional kind.
