Summary: Yet another variation on the Three Little Pigs theme, this time told as WW2 anti-German propaganda (the US had just entered the war), with the wolf as a thinly-disguised Hitler. (imdb)
Militaristic with a twinge of racism, but it's to be expected from a WW2 propaganda film. It's really quite funny and keeps it up to the end, though, a quality which many of these films don't have.
Definitely one of the better cartoons; plenty of creative and diverse gags, and a clear parody of Hitler and his supposed "peace treaty". Clearly demonstrates how the Allied Powers will humiliate him, especially with war bonds. Obviously, it's hilariously stupid that they play up the US, who did so little against Germany. However, vilifying the enemy is important in any war, and something that has become lost in the West during the Era of Political Correctness.
A short, lunatic propaganda cartoon by Tex Avery, using the story of the Three Little Piggies, only now the wolf is no less than Hitler. Well, uhm... What else can I say? It's crazy enough as it is.
