Mary Astor and Gloria Grahame keep this afloat, squaring off over the former's husband. Thing is, no one would ever fight over the drab, dull Philip Dorn. The film plays as a comedy, but lacks much energy despite the efforts of the two female leads. The whole film feels marginal otherwise.
