Rise and fall drug biopic that tries entirely too hard to be witty and stylish. Depp once again turns in a decent functional performance. The pacing seems a bit off and the characters are pretty shallow underneath the surface glitter.

Depp's really good in this. I don't know if this film gets the props it deserves. Whenever I watch Entourage and see them trying to get that biopic on Ricardo Montalban during season three in reminds me a bit of this movie.

After I saw 'Blow', I let Johnny Depp into my Cool Club. Made me want to be a drug dealer, but only if I could have a persistent medly of Manfred Mann tunes always rocking in the background.
