Another worthless Elvis fantasy almost redeemed by Angela Lansbury.

Say what you will about Elvis Presley as a performer, but the man could NOT act. Corny music, cornier humor, baaaaaaad script. The lead part could have been played just as effectively by a surfboard.

Another shittastic Elvis vehicle, featuring more third-rate pop songs, lame, eye-rolling attempts at comedy, and the spectacle of Presley trying to "act" using the same stone-faced expression in every fucking scene. Elvis flicks are some of the dullest, least entertaining wastes of 80 plus minutes imaginable, and this is likely the worst. The idea was that one doesn't need plot, dialogue, jokes, or even half-decent songs, just Elvis's static, expressionless mug performing them. Horrific garbage.
