Absolutely atrocious. I really, really hope this is an example of reading and believing your press clippings too much, and not an indication of what Lynch's full length features are like. Not only was this boring, insipid, and cliche, but the goddamn SHAKY CAM hurt my eyes.

Even though I hope Lynch returns to film rather than video, this was an effective if enigmatic use of sound and image to create a dreamlike feeling.

It didn't manage to transmit me anything. It's just an experiment for the sake of making one, and I found it boring, uninspired and useless, taking advance of Lynch's name but forgetting even the slightest bit of his quality and ability to come with mind-fucking and evocative stuff.

This must be what Lynch's home movies look like.

David Lynch wants us to join him for a boat ride, and who are we to decline? I love everything about this short. It succeeds with much simpler and more digestible means than its contemporary feature, Inland Empire, in creating a dreamlike atmosphere. You don't fully understand what's going on, but you're still moved.

Neat little short film, atmospheric and relatively impenetrable.

A great disappointment. Technically okay, but the idea was dumb.

Lynch doesn't really need more than an idea to make a short movie. The idea is fun and the result is decent.

Starts off a bit slow, but it's pleasant all the way through. A very enjoyable watch.
