It may just be my biased opinion, but this felt to me as a disneyfied Pixar movie, or more likely as a pixarfied Disney movie. It failed in the usual places Disney movies fail, but had some redeeming factors that lifted it above complete disappointment.

This was my first trip to the movie theater with Jack. Of course that experience was awesome. The movie was enjoyable too and had enough action for us boys.

I saw this movie when I was a kid and was so confused.. I had no idea where the plot was going and I was almost bored. I re-watched it recently with my younger relatives and un suprisingly. Didn't like it at all. The cast was good. But the writers felt slack.it was to predictable and mainly just boring with not much development to the plot. I wouldn't recommend this movie :(

Disney sure has redeemed themselves with yet another blockbuster Disney Movie! What action, what voices for the parts and incredible story! The song at the end is sure to be a classic.

A roller-coaster of fun, intelligent film making.. Its been a long time since such a non-cliche-run-of-the-mill type story appeared from disney or pixar. A great movie. Enjoyed it thoroughly.

Cute but failed to create an alternative interest for younger viewers apart from 'OOH animation' and 'YAY doggy'.

Nice screenplay. Like every work that is touched by John Lasseter. At begining it remembers to "Last action hero". Plays with the fiction in the fiction and the meaning of a real super-hero. After Polar Express, BeoWulf, Journey to the center of the Earth, U2:3D, and Nightmare before Christmas, 3D stereography is awakening, at last!

Just to give a short statement in the begining; I hate computer-animated-movies. I thought this was pretty cute thought for some reason. Bolt kind of took a tiny tiny piece of my heart with his rubber-carrot :) and I watched this movie with a real hot chick who loved this movie and I had loads of fun watching it with her... So...thanks Bolt and Rhino ;)

The 3D was excellent. Story was pretty cliche, though the 'dog actor who doesn't realize he really isn't a superhero' was a nice twist. Between a few scenes and the 3D, it kind of frightened my 4-year old daughter, who's generally pretty tough. She wasn't as taken with it as I was.

Beginning drags a lot. But as soon as the dog gets to New York it becomes one of the better, if not the best, Disney 3D animation.

I've now watched this over a dozen times thanks to my kids, and I actually still quite enjoy it each time. Sure, it's nothing special, but it's solidly entertaining and stands above what its average rating would have you think.

There's not much new to Bolt, but what's here is done so charmingly that it's a real triumph for Disney (which hasn't put out a cartoon this good under its own label since... ah... Lilo and Stitch?) Now, a note on 3D. This was the first 3D movie I've ever seen, and digitally projected with clear, polarized glasses and full color, it's what I've been waiting for since I was a little kid squinting at my 3D magazines with crappy red and blue cardboard specs. It's well worth seeking out in Real-D.
