A by-the-numbers romantic comedy that seems to think that throwing in the occasional salsa sequence, it can distance itself from every cliché in the book. Even that would be forgivable, if not for the fact that not a single one of the characters seems to have any reason for anything they do: things happen and they react accordingly, but by the next scene everything is forgotten. Throw in stale jokes and contrived scenarios, and it's easy to see why this falls so flat.
