It's interesting to see where did Ridley Scott come from. This coming of age mumble-film might be the most artistic piece he did. There's some interesting editing and cinematography to see, on a student film level.

Interesting to see Ridley Scott develop his film making style. You can see the essence of his ability to cut action scenes together masterfully, even in his student film. It isn't really compelling or enthralling and is more experimentation than actual narrative. Still interesting to see, none the less.
