It's actually a very good movie, but for criticker you should vote in a "worth to watch" style

Not what I was expecting, nor was I completely sold on it.

It's nice because it's recognisable. The whole fantasy thing we have as children, being able to create an entire world, having a dog, a tree house... On the other hand, it's just too childish to be really involving.

For the most part this works well for kids and is reasonably faithfull to the feel of the book. However, there's a bit of sketchy acting and the emotional journey doesn't seem quite as fulfilling as it could've been.

Great kids movie that can be enjoyed by the whole family. And Zooey looks beautiful as always. The story started off a little slow, but it built well to the end. The message(s) taken away from the film are great for everyone to reflect on: life, death, family, and friends.

some films must not have ends. watch it till the 3quarter of the film and stop&eject dvd. this tastes better if you like imagination world not the real one.

Very good movie. Bad advertising

Ending ruins an otherwise great movie.

I had high expectations for this movie, but, apart from the heart break, it was simply alright all around. The boys parents are useless, especially the father, while AnnaSophia and Bailee steal the attention.

Surprisingly faithful adaptation which is unexpected given the subject matter. The film was a bit light on the acting though and that's to be expected from the young cast. The film doesn't really shy away from the book but the movie still feels as if there certain creative constraints put onto the fantasy portion of the film.

Its good just for the moment that just comes out of the blue. People talk about this movie and you just know where the conversation leads.
