By focusing this story on children and a young girl's seemingly simple quest to attend school we get a very insightful look-in on present-day Afghanistan. Children can display things in ways adults would be hard put to do, and this clearly shows us the aftereffects of the Taliban and the violence that has taken place. Heartbreaking and heartwarming all at once. The young girl's performance is very impressive.
