Summary: As the son of a railway employee, Rakesh is unhappy with his life and circumstances. He quarrels with his family and then leaves for Mumbai, with the hope of becoming rich. On the way there, he meets Vimmi. She is another runaway and has dreams of becoming an actress or model.
