Summary: A twisted honeymoon road trip about a young couple on their way to Niagara Falls. SILAS PARKER is a moody petty-thief. He marries his parole officer's niece, believing that he can use the romantic honeymoon to escape to Canada. CAMILLE FOSTER (Sienna Miller) is the sweetest girl you can ever hope to meet. She truly believes that Niagara Falls will change Silas for the better and won't let anything stop the honeymoon, not even her death. (imdb)

Interesting idea, but something about it just didn't work. Part of it may be because so much time was spent early on making Franco's character completely unlikeable (especially in contrast to Miller's likeable Camille) that when he finally made his change it was too little too late. I will say though, for not being a big fan of country music I did like the soundtrack and thought it was a good fit.

For the most part, I quite enjoyed Camille. It's an off-beat, quirky and sometimes dark comedy featuring a likable lead and a somewhat unique premise. It avoids some clichés in the romantic comedy genre, although its ending is still quite easy to figure out. Despite this, the ending was still touching for me, and I definitely have to give Camille a recommendation.

It had a rocky beginning but a fun middle and decent end. This has a light-heart 30's feel with a slapstick 70s style, and a charming cast.
